An independent UK grant-making charity

The Foundation was established in 2008 by the Freilich family to provide sustained, carefully considered support to charitable causes. The trustees make grants where there is clear charitable benefit — to registered charities, to schools and educational institutions, to community and religious organisations, and, where the Foundation's purposes permit, directly to individuals experiencing hardship.

The Foundation supports work in the United Kingdom and overseas, including Israel. It does not run public fundraising appeals; grants are made from the Foundation's own resources.

Every application is assessed against the Foundation's charitable objects, the trustees' assessment of public benefit, proportionate due diligence and the resources available in the relevant period.
